Total Audio Converter is a Windows utility designed to help you convert your media files to various audio formats. This type of programs come in handy if you're dealing with incompatibility issues between your sound files and a media player or editor. You can also use this tool to extract soundtracks from your favorite movies.
The interface is intuitive, but its appearance is not appealing, at least not to me. Converting a media file is very simple: import it, choose the preferred output format and destination folder and click the "Start" button. You also have access to several editing features which include the ability to trim the input file and an option to adjust the sound volume.
In my testing, the program took a small amount of time to generate the audio files I needed. Also, it preserved the original sound quality and it didn't slow down the performance of other running tools while converting the imported files.
A thing I noticed while checking the input and output format lists was that, even though you can import FLAC files for conversion, the utility doesn't let you convert media files to the FLAC format.
Still, Total Audio Converter comes with a fair price and offers you quality output files. I'd say it's worth a shot, especially if the aforementioned flaw means nothing to you.
